Hi everybody!
My name is Brenden Woods and I’m the Groom. Some of you may know me as ‘Ben’ or ‘that guy who’s lucky enough to marry Kristie’. I’ve been kinda slacking in the posting department, but that’s all gonna change right now. We’re going to start my search for the perfect suit.
Here’s some things I’m not into:
-shiny-black-shoulder paddy-tuxedos
and here are some things that float my boat:
-fitted (assuming I can curb my Ghandi’s Roti habit)-browns and greys-3-pieces
So that’s the criteria. Now here’s the first stop on my search. Indochino.com! I discovered these designers when googling ‘classic 50′s and 60′s suits’. The deal is, you pick the style of suit you want, take your detailed measurements and feed them to your computer, then you pay, and then in two weeks they will have shipped you your custom made suit free of charge.
This seems a little too sweet of a deal to just entrust my wedding suit to an online tailor that I’ve never used before, so my plan is to test purchase a smart practical suit that I can wear for wedding season this year. If everything works out, these guys may be in the top running, however I still have all of Toronto to search. So we’ll just have to see.
Here’s what I’m thinking for the summer. Please excuse this guy’s face.
